Episode 345

Episode 345: We Discuss Nepotism and Power: Guilfoyle, Donations, and Access

I state the central point at the outset: we intend to reduce winter energy expenses by wearing hoodies, layering, and closing vents to save gas money. I explain the steps I will take this winter, such as wearing more clothes at home, using a heated blanket, and limiting heat to occupied rooms. We also discuss current events and politics, including a controversial town hall and questions about appointments and competence in the administration. I raise concerns about education and civic knowledge and argue that stronger civics teaching would help people understand government. We reflect on generational differences and everyday choices, and we invite listeners to join our live show and follow us on the podcast channels.

Speaker A:

Here's the crazy part.

Speaker A:

The crazy part is I would get more votes than I thought because there are a whole bunch of people out there who are just like fgm kids.

Speaker B:

The show that gives you everything and nothing at all, that's everywhere you don't want to be.

Speaker B:

It's Reuben, Mo B.

Speaker B:

And on the ones and twos, AG.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Welcome, everyone, to a brand new episode of five minute warning.

Speaker A:

Of course, as always, it's your man Reuben in the house tonight.

Speaker A:

And of course, always with me is my cousin AG what's happening, y'?

Speaker A:

All?

Speaker B:

How you doing?

Speaker A:

Hey.

Speaker A:

Everything is all right.

Speaker B:

Wow.

Speaker A:

I mean, it's.

Speaker A:

You know, it's got a little cold out here because it is fall, so it's supposed to get a little cold.

Speaker A:

Virginia decided to finally get on that bandwagon last week and stuff.

Speaker A:

And so, yeah, man, we're just trying to join, you know, the rest of the country that's supposed to be cold.

Speaker A:

To be cold.

Speaker A:

And I guess for me, if it's under 70 degrees, that shit's cold.

Speaker A:

So if I gotta put the hoodie on, we know what it is, baby.

Speaker B:

You so soft.

Speaker B:

Come on, man.

Speaker B:

Under 70?

Speaker B:

Come on, bro.

Speaker A:

Bro, I'm gonna tell you like this, man.

Speaker A:

Look, we've said on this show numerous times, man, that I'm much cool.

Speaker A:

Like, I don't.

Speaker A:

How do I want to say this?

Speaker A:

Nice.

Speaker A:

Even though it is what it is, the less clothes, the better.

Speaker A:

Like, I don't need eight layers of clothes on me, man.

Speaker A:

Like, I'm super happy with a T shirt, a pair of shorts, and some covering up my feet.

Speaker A:

So that's what I got on, you know, the house, it says it's 70 something.

Speaker A:

It ain't 70 something.

Speaker A:

This damn house.

Speaker A:

There's 70 something in one room.

Speaker A:

And, you know, that's just what it is, I guess, you know, so.

Speaker A:

Hey, it's all good though.

Speaker A:

Like, what we're not doing is looking to skyrocket my gas bill because, hey man, when it's cold in this, I mean, you're gonna have the electric heater on.

Speaker A:

Well, I'll be in the hoodie because the last couple years, I mean the gas man.

Speaker A:

Because I got gas heat now.

Speaker A:

It's cheaper than electric heat.

Speaker B:

But why are you complaining if it's cheaper?

Speaker B:

That was, that was my next question.

Speaker B:

Because I, I've never had gas.

Speaker B:

So it's like, is it.

Speaker B:

I've heard, I hear good things.

Speaker B:

So.

Speaker A:

No, there are.

Speaker A:

However, I have to understand that I work, but I don't need all to give all my damn money to the utilities companies.

Speaker B:

Well, I mean, that's gonna happen anyway based on the recent past.

Speaker B:

I'm just saying.

Speaker A:

But I mean, like, I'm trying to, I'm trying to do a little better this year.

Speaker A:

I've been trying to do it better year after year, but eventually I break down and like it.

Speaker A:

Like I have heated and blanket, heated blanket on my, on my bed so I don't have to run that shit all night.

Speaker A:

Like, yeah, man, I got an electric heater in my main room, but I don't cut that on.

Speaker A:

But when it's all said and done, I gotta do the one thing I hate doing.

Speaker B:

What's that?

Speaker A:

And that's putting us put on some damn clothes.

Speaker B:

Well, it saves you money.

Speaker A:

I mean, I understand that.

Speaker B:

Like, look, is there any pleasing you, sir?

Speaker A:

No, there's a lot of pleasing me.

Speaker A:

But I have to realize that, hey, man, you know, in order for me to get things that I want, I have to make some concessions.

Speaker A:

So during the winter, this year I will be putting on clothes throughout the winter.

Speaker A:

And I'm not me.

Speaker A:

I mean, like, look, because right now I got a short sleeve shirt on and I got some shorts on, you know, I'm chill in.

Speaker A:

However I understand how Virginia weather fucking gets.

Speaker A:

And yeah, you know, I'm just not trying to give Virginia gas a ton of money this year.

Speaker A:

I've just decided that I ain't gonna freeze my house because that's what I'm not gonna do.

Speaker A:

But my goal, stay around 70, 72 and if I, I need some more warmth.

Speaker A:

Your boy gotta put on a hoodie.

Speaker A:

Because I, I mean, when it's all said and done, man, like the bigger frame you have to heat up, the more expensive that is.

Speaker A:

And I close my vents into two rooms I'm never in.

Speaker A:

So the vent goes into the heat goes into two rooms.

Speaker A:

Sometimes Well, I don't close this room because I'm actually in this a lot.

Speaker A:

But the back room now I use.

Speaker A:

Hell no, man.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's.

Speaker A:

It's damn near arctic up in that.

Speaker A:

I close the vent, man.

Speaker A:

Hell no.

Speaker A:

Nobody ever goes in there, so why am I gonna give you heat?

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

I mean.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Hey, man, but once again, man, I've decided that I need, you know.

Speaker A:

Cause look, man, what'll happen is we'll have a couple shows and we'll see Moby and like a sweatshirt.

Speaker A:

And you know what?

Speaker A:

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the sweatshirt.

Speaker A:

I'm actually really comfortable on sweatshirts.

Speaker A:

So, like, you know, if that means I could say a cup of Honda on my gas bill now, I ain't talking about saving like $20.

Speaker A:

Nah, that.

Speaker A:

It's all.

Speaker A:

But like, I need to save like 100 with an S. Because during the winter of my.

Speaker A:

And I need to save it for the.

Speaker A:

Where I really need it.

Speaker A:

Because you know, when February, it's gonna snow around here and it's gonna be super cold.

Speaker A:

Look, I'll turn that on like for goodness for that when it's super cold.

Speaker A:

Right now it's like 60 degrees outside, man.

Speaker A:

Look, you call me to a point.

Speaker B:

No, no, wait.

Speaker B:

Let's give it context now.

Speaker B:

I said because the only reason I said what I said is because you said below 70.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah, man, that.

Speaker A:

I don't like that.

Speaker B:

Come on, man.

Speaker A:

Below 70, bro, I hate snow.

Speaker B:

Yeah, there you go, Moco Cowboy.

Speaker B:

Do you put on Long John?

Speaker B:

Do you layer?

Speaker A:

Nah, man.

Speaker A:

Cause I'm fat.

Speaker A:

What do you mean?

Speaker B:

What does that have to do with anything, bro?

Speaker B:

You're not a seal.

Speaker B:

What are you doing?

Speaker A:

But we know that Reuben don't believe in like weari a ton of clothes.

Speaker B:

We're just trying.

Speaker B:

We're just here trying to save you a couple hundred dollars, sir.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

And that's why I said this year we gonna start doing some of that shit.

Speaker A:

We're gonna start layering.

Speaker B:

I can't believe we're talking about this.

Speaker A:

I'm just.

Speaker A:

Hey, hey, look man, we.

Speaker A:

If we gonna be real, we're gonna be real about it, man.

Speaker A:

That's just what it is.

Speaker A:

Like if I.

Speaker A:

If I showed you the gas bills the last couple years from October to March, you would look at me like you a damn fool.

Speaker B:

No, because everybody' up for no reason.

Speaker A:

Nah, man.

Speaker A:

No, no.

Speaker A:

It goes up for a reason.

Speaker A:

It goes up because I use this.

Speaker B:

I hear what you're saying, but I still say it's unreasonable.

Speaker B:

Even for people that have gas don't have anything to do with electricity.

Speaker B:

It's still.

Speaker B:

They're killing us, man.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I don't know man.

Speaker A:

I had a really low.

Speaker A:

During the summer, I have really low gas bills cuz really, if I'm not using my heat, cuz my AC is electric, my AC goes up, right?

Speaker A:

Well, yeah, but the thing about it is my, my stove is g. But, but real talk, sometimes it's better to use the stove that he's the damn house.

Speaker A:

I mean, I just think for the.

Speaker B:

Regular working person, it's so sad that we have to make all these concessions when I know, right, there's people out there that are getting rich off of our pain.

Speaker B:

That's all I'm saying.

Speaker A:

No, I completely agree with you.

Speaker A:

I completely agree with you.

Speaker A:

So like yeah man, like I'm 1% with you.

Speaker A:

And that's why I decided, bro, that this year is the year of the hoodie.

Speaker A:

The winner of the hoodie.

Speaker B:

That's concessions, man.

Speaker A:

I will make that concession because I'll normally make that concession.

Speaker A:

That's not a concession I make.

Speaker A:

You can go back and look at all the episodes I can guarantee less than 10 episodes that you've ever seen me wear a hoodie or any long sleeve shirt because my shit be cranked up in the winter and that's how I get bills.

Speaker A:

So I decided them I need to do better for myself and I need to take care of myself a little better and I need to take care of my wallet a little better.

Speaker B:

Understood.

Speaker A:

Because you know, because you right, they already getting us.

Speaker A:

I ain't going to try to help these motherfuckers no more.

Speaker B:

You realize there's no way out, sir, right?

Speaker B:

You think you're saving, but you're not saving anything.

Speaker A:

Hey man.

Speaker B:

Because if you stop, they'll find a service fee that they can charge you.

Speaker B:

They're never going to not be wealthy.

Speaker A:

All I'm saying is if I could take a hundo a month off my bill throughout the winter, that's a win.

Speaker A:

If I could save 500 this winter, that's a win for me.

Speaker A:

And, and that tells you how stupid my gas bill is without telling you how stupid my gas bill is.

Speaker B:

I hear what you're saying.

Speaker B:

I just think it's sad that they got us led by the short hairs like this and they don't care.

Speaker B:

That's all I'm saying.

Speaker B:

It's just like this administration has exacerbated that, that mental attitude.

Speaker B:

It's just like y' all killing us and y' all don't care.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And then, and then you mad if we stop and then you make us buy it.

Speaker B:

I'm like, really?

Speaker B:

Is that.

Speaker A:

We're doing a couple things before we get into it.

Speaker A:

Should we get deep into the show?

Speaker A:

I got some questions.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

First of all, while I'm turning on my TV Saturday night, yo, man, it is great football on tv, okay?

Speaker A:

Great college football.

Speaker A:

And I turned to CBS and I see the punk ass vice president up there.

Speaker B:

Why?

Speaker B:

What did you have to say?

Speaker B:

On a Saturday.

Speaker A:

He had a town hall.

Speaker B:

On a Saturday.

Speaker A:

On a.

Speaker A:

On a Saturday night, bro, at 8 o'.

Speaker A:

Clock.

Speaker B:

Did anybody know about this?

Speaker A:

I didn't.

Speaker B:

Had a town hall on a Saturday.

Speaker A:

They had like 75 people there too.

Speaker A:

And you know, okay.

Speaker A:

I mean, the white dude was like, so, like, how we stop this, this rhetoric?

Speaker A:

Because, you know, I got a kid and I teach kids, and they be talking all the hateful rhetoric.

Speaker A:

And how do we stop that white dude?

Speaker B:

What hateful rhetoric is he talking about?

Speaker A:

Oh, man.

Speaker A:

Because, you know, like the new age, these new age cats, like, if you're not white, you ain't.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

That's not news.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

But they loud about it.

Speaker A:

The little kids a lot about it now.

Speaker B:

So I mean, like, but they're learning from, like everywhere.

Speaker A:

Well, I understand that.

Speaker A:

And that's the thing.

Speaker A:

And he was like, so what are y' all gonna do about that?

Speaker A:

Because there's a problem.

Speaker B:

They're part of the problem.

Speaker A:

I understand, bro.

Speaker B:

I'm sorry, man.

Speaker B:

I am interrupting.

Speaker B:

You tell your story.

Speaker B:

I'm so sorry.

Speaker B:

This is.

Speaker A:

I am 100 with you.

Speaker A:

And you know, J.D.

Speaker A:

Vance gave some stupid ass answer that didn't make no goddamn sense.

Speaker A:

And I mean, you know, and here's the thing with JD Vance, which kills me the most.

Speaker A:

Like, he even brought his wife up, man.

Speaker B:

I was just like, the brown chick?

Speaker A:

The Indian chick?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Well, no, I'm saying she's brown.

Speaker B:

But I'm like, why would you do that?

Speaker A:

Well, because he was just like, you know, me and my wife were talking about it, and I was like, furthermore, the fact that your wife ain't white.

Speaker A:

You should automatically be like, yeah, this ain't cool.

Speaker A:

Any kind of roundabout way said, this ain't cool.

Speaker A:

But he ain't like, come out and say, this ain't cool.

Speaker B:

He's part of a bill that's like promoting, like, not just not discriminating against white men.

Speaker A:

I understand that.

Speaker A:

And he mentioned that.

Speaker B:

I'm sorry, I'm just interrupting You.

Speaker B:

Because I'm.

Speaker B:

I'm just being terrible.

Speaker B:

Go ahead.

Speaker A:

Nah, man, it's all good.

Speaker A:

No, he mentioned that, man.

Speaker A:

And I was just like, okay, so now what we're saying is.

Speaker A:

Now what we're saying is white men are endangered species.

Speaker A:

Are you kidding me?

Speaker A:

Like, this is where we're at.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Really is where we're at, apparently.

Speaker A:

I don't know what country he looking at and stuff, but, like, I don't know if I say that.

Speaker A:

I would steer away from saying that, but that's pretty much what he said.

Speaker A:

And I was just kind of like, huh, all right, this is where we going with this.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

You know, and then they asked him about 20, 28, and I was like, do I really want to hear this?

Speaker A:

Nope.

Speaker A:

Click.

Speaker A:

I went back to Miami and Florida.

Speaker B:

That would have been the best part.

Speaker A:

Nah, all that, man.

Speaker A:

I ain't got time to give that, man.

Speaker B:

Because that would have been.

Speaker B:

That would have been uncomfortable.

Speaker B:

Because he' either got to say, trump's never leaving, or I'm the guy that's running, which he hasn't been endorsed to do so.

Speaker A:

Which he's not.

Speaker A:

He didn't.

Speaker A:

He probably didn't say.

Speaker A:

He was like, oh, boy.

Speaker A:

And I was like, yeah, you gonna tap dance?

Speaker A:

Like you tap dance since you got here?

Speaker A:

Because, I mean, let's be real, you know, six years ago, you call Trump the damn Antichrist, and next thing you know, you sucking on his dick.

Speaker A:

Like, what we doing?

Speaker A:

Like, And.

Speaker A:

And you sucking on his dick.

Speaker A:

He talking about pretty much annihilating whole races.

Speaker A:

And your wife ain't white.

Speaker A:

Like, what we doing?

Speaker A:

Like, she is.

Speaker A:

Now, I don't know exactly what she is, but she's.

Speaker A:

At least, I would think she's Middle Eastern or something.

Speaker B:

She's Indian.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And I'm just like, hold on, man.

Speaker A:

This just said he's gonna annihilate Iran.

Speaker A:

Like, the people Iranians.

Speaker A:

And you sitting there, man.

Speaker B:

Well, let's back up a minute for that particular thing, and I'll tell you why I'm interrupting you now.

Speaker A:

No, that's fine.

Speaker A:

I don't mind your nerf.

Speaker B:

Because we're presuming that she feels some type of way about being brown.

Speaker B:

I feel as though for her to even think about marrying a dude like that.

Speaker B:

She wants to be.

Speaker B:

No, she is quite adjacent.

Speaker B:

She probably doesn't identify as brown.

Speaker B:

So we have to understand that we might have to backtrack because of that.

Speaker B:

A lot of black people, you know, get outraged at the Byron Donalds of the world.

Speaker B:

The Tim Scott's of the world, which you really shouldn't.

Speaker B:

Because we always try to tell white folks or non black people that we're not a monolith.

Speaker B:

And that's very true.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And I'm telling you, we have to presume based on the idea that she didn't divorce him a couple of years ago and got her pregnant since then, that she probably really doesn't, you know, identify as Indian or brown at all.

Speaker B:

She probably grew up in a neighborhood that allowed her to exist, which made her feel comfortable, which led her to feel like, no, I'm not black, I'm not brown.

Speaker B:

I'm me, which is code for I'm white because I have access.

Speaker B:

It's just like Mike Tirico.

Speaker B:

It's one of the things that I have to really gear myself up for when I have a chance to watch, you know, America.

Speaker B:

Was it football night in America?

Speaker B:

Mike Tirico is not a black person.

Speaker B:

And I have to understand that where.

Speaker A:

He said he was Italian.

Speaker B:

So if Mike Tirico gets hemmed up, I'm be like, you're a white guy, you'll be fine.

Speaker B:

I'm not helping you.

Speaker B:

Since those, since the chance of that happening is rare, I have to defer to him and be like, hey, man, you.

Speaker B:

You good?

Speaker B:

We good.

Speaker B:

You're.

Speaker B:

You're.

Speaker B:

You're Mike Tirico and I'm the black person.

Speaker B:

We have to, we have to put that out there to be accurate.

Speaker B:

So for me, I'm sitting here like, yo, I don't.

Speaker B:

For everything that's happened between those two.

Speaker B:

She is white adjacent.

Speaker B:

She is not.

Speaker B:

So for me to be outraged for her, I'm kind of wasting my breath.

Speaker B:

She don't want to be me.

Speaker B:

She don't want to be her.

Speaker B:

She wants to be what she thinks she is based off of her past and what her desires are.

Speaker B:

And there's litigation that happened in, I think the 50s or 60s about Middle Eastern people being categorized, categorized as white.

Speaker B:

There is litigation there.

Speaker B:

There is a case there.

Speaker B:

I don't remember it off the top of my head.

Speaker B:

Google it.

Speaker B:

It'll come up.

Speaker B:

But there is, there is policy that allows people to put white on their, like on the census because they not black.

Speaker B:

They don't want to be black because everybody knows being black is the most people heinous crime you can ever commit.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker B:

It's awful.

Speaker B:

It's an awful place to be.

Speaker B:

So it's just like a lot of people, some of it backed up by policy.

Speaker B:

They don't Want to be white.

Speaker B:

I mean, I'm sorry, they don't want to be black, which I'm good with, because, I mean, for real, don't we all want an easier life?

Speaker A:

You do, you, boo.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

But for real, answer the question.

Speaker B:

Do we?

Speaker B:

At some point during the day, we.

Speaker B:

Wouldn't you love it if you could actually afford your power bill with no problems and have freedom to, you know, turn it up based on the weather?

Speaker B:

How about that?

Speaker B:

That's a novel idea.

Speaker B:

Not have to wear a hoodie inside your own house.

Speaker B:

Wouldn't you like that?

Speaker B:

Kind of free.

Speaker B:

Well, that's what it's like.

Speaker B:

Be white even if you don't even know it.

Speaker B:

Which is even more.

Speaker B:

This is even more like brilliant to me.

Speaker B:

You have been in this vacuum so long that you don't even understand how good you have it.

Speaker B:

And you don't have to, because it will always be.

Speaker B:

And so if you can access that because you're white adjacent, wouldn't you access that?

Speaker B:

I know I would.

Speaker B:

I mean, self respect notwithstanding, surely.

Speaker B:

But I know I would.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I mean, so let's make sure that we understand that his wife.

Speaker B:

I don't know her name, but his wife.

Speaker B:

J.D.

Speaker B:

Vance's wife, Isha.

Speaker B:

I think either way, whatever it is, she might be one of two things or both.

Speaker B:

So I'm not gonna label her as a girl.

Speaker B:

I would.

Speaker B:

No, maybe that girl would.

Speaker B:

Or a woman.

Speaker B:

So you know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

That's all I had to say about it.

Speaker B:

Go ahead with the.

Speaker B:

Because I. I didn't know J.D.

Speaker B:

Vance had a town hall.

Speaker B:

Did tell nobody.

Speaker A:

He told somebody.

Speaker A:

At least people.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Sure enough.

Speaker B:

Sure.

Speaker A:

And it was on cbs, so there you go.

Speaker B:

Well, CBS ain't got to do none anymore because, you know, that's.

Speaker B:

That's Trump Channel.

Speaker B:

That's the Trunk Channel right there, buddy.

Speaker B:

I'm surprised.

Speaker B:

I watched.

Speaker B:

I watched the new Tommy Davidson sitcom on Paramount.

Speaker B:

Plus, I'm surprised that that still exists.

Speaker A:

Well, you know, that's Paramount plus.

Speaker A:

Different people pay to watch that.

Speaker A:

No, people get to pay to watch that.

Speaker B:

I hear what you're saying, but I mean, my man bought this.

Speaker B:

My man bought this whole.

Speaker B:

The whole shebang last week.

Speaker B:

It's gonna change.

Speaker B:

It's gonna change.

Speaker B:

Everything is gonna change, man.

Speaker B:

If Colbert can get it, everybody can get it.

Speaker A:

I mean, that's true.

Speaker B:

I mean, Colbert.

Speaker B:

I love Colbert.

Speaker B:

I mean, this is even before I knew what his political stance was.

Speaker B:

Guys.

Speaker B:

Funny.

Speaker B:

Had a great show.

Speaker B:

And it's just like to see that dude go down I mean, see a white dude go down for real.

Speaker B:

I was like, first I thought they was playing, but when that dude had his last show and it was over, over, I was like, wow, it's happening to white folks now.

Speaker B:

Welcome to the back of the bus, Mr. Colbert.

Speaker B:

Because that's.

Speaker B:

You're not Colbert anymore, sir.

Speaker B:

You're Colbert.

Speaker B:

They made sure that we gonna see.

Speaker A:

What Skydance is gonna do with last week tonight.

Speaker B:

Good luck.

Speaker A:

Because.

Speaker A:

Because he.

Speaker B:

He boy, Exactly.

Speaker B:

He don't care.

Speaker B:

That dude don't care.

Speaker A:

Yo, on the last episode last week, he even shouted him out.

Speaker A:

Congratulations, Skydest.

Speaker A:

This is what you bought.

Speaker A:

I was weak.

Speaker A:

I was weak, yo.

Speaker A:

He's awesome.

Speaker A:

Now a couple more things I want to talk about because we haven't talked about like current events in a minute.

Speaker A:

Bro press.

Speaker A:

Press secretary lasted five days.

Speaker A:

Bro Fridays.

Speaker B:

Okay, hear me out.

Speaker A:

Katie Zachariah.

Speaker A:

Five days.

Speaker B:

Hear me out.

Speaker A:

The hell.

Speaker B:

I have said on this show many times.

Speaker B:

I told my wife this many times in the past.

Speaker B:

I told her this yesterday when we were talking about it, because I hadn't heard the press conference and I was listening to NPR, as I always do, and I heard the press conference and I was, I wasn't shocked, but I was a little surprised because of how bad this woman was.

Speaker B:

Now I have seen people that are pros, you know, look a little unprepared because they just got something like five minutes ago, she had something for 24 hours and she, she sounded like a first grader doing her first, you know, public speaking.

Speaker B:

You know, the two minute talk you're supposed to have, at least we used to have in school.

Speaker B:

And I was just like, okay.

Speaker B:

My first thought was, wow, what new?

Speaker B:

Who hired?

Speaker B:

And then.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

But see, here's the thing.

Speaker B:

When she got fired, I told my wife and I've said this on the show to y', all, they found out that this was a bad idea.

Speaker B:

And it was so bad.

Speaker B:

Now I think that there were some built in, you know, like this might not be too good built into the equation.

Speaker B:

I do believe that.

Speaker B:

And they were prepared to understand it is going to be bad for a little bit until she kind of got her footing.

Speaker B:

Whatever, whatever.

Speaker B:

But she had to look, she had the connections and apparently they're, you know, her spouse and them or whatever gave enough money to get noticed.

Speaker B:

Okay, that got her in the door because that's what gets everybody in the door in this administration because you buy your way in.

Speaker B:

So the first press conference went off and it was, it was beyond anything that they could Stand.

Speaker B:

And so they were like, you gotta go.

Speaker B:

But what I say to y', all, what I say to my wife is, you gotta go in public.

Speaker B:

But we gonna be at the clan meeting Thursday night.

Speaker B:

I'm gonna see you there.

Speaker B:

Because again, nobody gets to where they are in this administration without giving up a lot of cash and saying a lot of things that aren't true with your whole chest.

Speaker B:

We know this.

Speaker B:

It's happened many, many, many, many times.

Speaker B:

It was so bad that they asked her to leave fast, really fast.

Speaker B:

But it doesn't mean that she's not going to be at the clan.

Speaker B:

Meet Guilfoyle is another one.

Speaker B:

Donald Trump's son.

Speaker B:

Ex.

Speaker B:

That got fired from their ambassadorship in Greece.

Speaker A:

She gets her own segment.

Speaker A:

We go talk about her.

Speaker B:

Well, what I'm saying is the same thing.

Speaker B:

It's like, stop, y'.

Speaker B:

All, she's still.

Speaker B:

She's still in.

Speaker B:

She's still in.

Speaker B:

The American Express bill got paid, okay?

Speaker B:

The hundred thousand dollar and I have had high American Express bills before.

Speaker B:

Huh?

Speaker A:

Did it get paid, though?

Speaker B:

Oh, 100, bro.

Speaker B:

I can't prove it, but 100.

Speaker B:

I would bet the farm.

Speaker B:

I would bet the A farm.

Speaker B:

No, I'm sorry, I don't have a farm.

Speaker B:

I would bet the stoop that that bill got paid.

Speaker B:

Because how many times in sports have we seen an organization or a college pay a coach to go away?

Speaker B:

This is what that is.

Speaker B:

But you, I' ma see you at the clan meeting on Thursday night.

Speaker B:

7:30, Dunkin Donuts.

Speaker A:

We.

Speaker B:

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker B:

We good.

Speaker B:

We good.

Speaker B:

Fried chicken, chitlins and collard greens.

Speaker B:

Cause you know, white folks eat that stuff in secret.

Speaker A:

You're so stupid.

Speaker B:

Am I wrong?

Speaker B:

I know a dude on top of my head eat all that stuff.

Speaker B:

He white as he want to be.

Speaker B:

But we have the narrative.

Speaker B:

So I'm gonna say this the way I said it.

Speaker B:

Moving on.

Speaker B:

Thursday night, 7:30, clamine.

Speaker B:

Because people take this as the administration changing or, you know, them finding fault in what they did.

Speaker B:

No, sir, this is.

Speaker B:

It's really bad.

Speaker B:

I have to distance myself from you because even in my own vacuum, this was awful.

Speaker B:

And so you gotta go.

Speaker B:

However, I'm gonna see you at the Klan meeting on Thursday night or Saturday.

Speaker B:

That's what we're doing.

Speaker B:

That's what happened.

Speaker B:

That's what happened exactly.

Speaker B:

Moco cowboy.

Speaker B:

It's not like she got the ambassadorship on merit.

Speaker B:

It was always political.

Speaker B:

Was it political or was it nepotism?

Speaker B:

Like nepotism and what's the other like?

Speaker B:

Favoritism.

Speaker B:

All at the same time.

Speaker B:

The nepotism part happened because you're dating my son.

Speaker B:

You have been.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And because of my son.

Speaker A:

Date no more.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

But hey, clammy, clammy, 7:30.

Speaker B:

All the black food that's got slavery, blood in it.

Speaker B:

All the black food, just saying.

Speaker A:

Oh, Jesus.

Speaker B:

So it's like you dated my son.

Speaker B:

He came to me.

Speaker B:

Give my girlfriend.

Speaker B:

My serious girlfriend.

Speaker B:

Dad, come on.

Speaker B:

If you love me, you'll do this.

Speaker A:

Give her a job.

Speaker B:

So he.

Speaker B:

He loves her.

Speaker B:

He loves him enough to do it, you know, because he didn't show up to the wedding or nothing.

Speaker B:

That was awes.

Speaker B:

That's a whole nother podcast.

Speaker B:

But it's just like he gave her that role, and actually they broke up in the interim, and she still got the role.

Speaker B:

I'm like, okay, we all know what that was.

Speaker B:

I mean, for real, she could have slept with Donald Trump for real and got it for real.

Speaker B:

We don't know.

Speaker B:

We don't know.

Speaker B:

There's so many things that could have happened based off of past performance, and that's it.

Speaker A:

I don't want to know that shit.

Speaker B:

I hear what you're saying, but we have to mention it.

Speaker B:

We have to mention it because it could have went down that way, but she did so badly, and she was caught in a bribe.

Speaker B:

If she didn't get caught in the bribe, she'd still be in Greece, man.

Speaker B:

Come on, bro.

Speaker B:

You don't think if she got caught in a bribe, she wouldn't be angry?

Speaker A:

She was.

Speaker B:

She would be home right now.

Speaker A:

Well, see, here's the thing, man, and I'm.

Speaker A:

I'm glad we shifted over to Guilful, because that was part of the next conversation.

Speaker A:

So, like.

Speaker A:

All right, first of all, K.B.

Speaker A:

Yakko, I am 100 with you, man.

Speaker A:

I did not know Gavin Newsom was married to her, bro.

Speaker B:

100.

Speaker A:

First of all, I got questions and issues with all that.

Speaker B:

Yeah, what changed?

Speaker A:

What changed, bro?

Speaker A:

If Newsom got rid of her and then she went from Newsom to Trump's kid bro, we know what that was.

Speaker B:

I'm not even gonna say it on this show.

Speaker A:

We don't need to say it.

Speaker A:

But we all know what that was.

Speaker B:

Aren't surely gonna be listening to this next week or later this week.

Speaker B:

I'm not gonna say it.

Speaker B:

She already knows what's up.

Speaker A:

But we all.

Speaker A:

But we'd also not gonna call somebody out on their name either.

Speaker B:

I mean, nor do you have to.

Speaker B:

Just the act itself.

Speaker A:

I'm just, you know, and then hold up, man.

Speaker A:

So you're telling me you're gonna call a Kentucky friend of the family?

Speaker A:

Yo, man, can you pay my hundred thousand dollar?

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

Yo and all.

Speaker A:

Hold on, man.

Speaker A:

For, for, for some conversation with Trump?

Speaker A:

Maybe that's what we.

Speaker A:

First of all, that's too low to get a meeting with Trump.

Speaker A:

That's just too low for that.

Speaker A:

So that, that's, that in itself is already crazy.

Speaker A:

Which, which already takes me to number two.

Speaker A:

What else might have been included in that?

Speaker A:

Once again, I ain't trying to call nobody out their name.

Speaker A:

I'm just saying, cuz if I'm paying somebody's American express bill for $100,000.

Speaker A:

I'm just saying a meeting is not the only thing I'm getting.

Speaker B:

Well, in, in their defense, sometimes it is that valuable.

Speaker B:

Sometimes just the meeting or just number is worth that much money.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker A:

But here's the thing, here's the thing.

Speaker A:

Now she won't with the kid no more.

Speaker A:

So what makes you think that she has access to him anymore?

Speaker A:

Just because he was an ambassador to Greece.

Speaker A:

Nobody.

Speaker A:

You know what?

Speaker A:

Elmo could be an ambassador to Greece.

Speaker A:

That's how much craziness goes on over there, bro.

Speaker A:

Like, what are we talking about?

Speaker A:

Like, yo, what the hell?

Speaker A:

Like you might as well made her the ambassador.

Speaker A:

Antarctica.

Speaker A:

About the same.

Speaker A:

So like, yeah, man, yeah.

Speaker A:

All I'm saying is it just so happens in the span of two weeks we have two stupid people in the Trump organization.

Speaker A:

One she can't keep, one can't keep her mouth shut about needing money, and then the other one first and I mean, well, I'll come back to that.

Speaker A:

And then the second one can't talk.

Speaker A:

So like, yeah, I don't know what's going on.

Speaker A:

And I mean, as far as Guilford goes, goes, hold on, man, you were married to Governor Newsom.

Speaker A:

You ain't get no money from that.

Speaker A:

I would think a woman such as yourself, I mean, I, I don't think Newsom is poor.

Speaker B:

He's not.

Speaker A:

So like, would you blow all that money?

Speaker A:

So that's why I had to go to Junior.

Speaker B:

He might have protected himself, sir.

Speaker A:

I mean, that's very possible because they are, they are in California.

Speaker A:

And if you don't protect yourself, that's half.

Speaker B:

Half automatic.

Speaker A:

Automatic.

Speaker B:

I don't know why everybody wants to get married in California.

Speaker A:

I don't know why everyone wants to get married to Kevin Gilford.

Speaker A:

But that's a completely different, different situation.

Speaker B:

Like, I mean, she cute to somebody.

Speaker A:

I mean everybody.

Speaker A:

I'm cute to somebody.

Speaker B:

That's what I'm saying.

Speaker B:

I mean, she cut me somebody.

Speaker A:

I mean, two people that in a public face has been with her.

Speaker A:

So hey, man, maybe she got that game.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

But yeah, man, like, and then how about this dude is going, going.

Speaker A:

He is actively like, trying to get people to vote for his people and they don't want his ass.

Speaker A:

Nah, man, Trump can stay at home.

Speaker A:

I mean, damn.

Speaker A:

We talked about a couple weeks ago, Byron Dale is like, nah, man, I mean, we good.

Speaker B:

He said, we're good.

Speaker B:

100.

Speaker A:

I mean, bro, when, when the.

Speaker A:

When the black guy who has been.

Speaker B:

With the black Rolling.

Speaker A:

Rolling with you for years.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Says now I'm good, man.

Speaker A:

Back up, back up.

Speaker A:

You got that?

Speaker A:

I don't want it.

Speaker A:

Back up.

Speaker A:

I got this, bruh.

Speaker A:

Like, what.

Speaker A:

When I'm telling, man, when we talk about Brian Dan, Brian Donalds or whatever the.

Speaker A:

His name is, like, backing up from Trump, I was like, like, yo, he, he either knows some or he sees that right on the wrong strong cuz he's like, nah, you don't need to come to Florida.

Speaker A:

Keep your ass out of here.

Speaker B:

Is that what he said?

Speaker A:

He ain't been in Florida.

Speaker B:

I only think it's been at home.

Speaker B:

True.

Speaker A:

And then the dude in Texas now, we could paint on, we could campaign on a different site.

Speaker A:

How you going to sit here and campaign with somebody and you talk about him at the same time?

Speaker A:

What are we doing?

Speaker B:

I mean, look, this administration is.

Speaker A:

How is that supposed to be helping that man?

Speaker A:

You sitting there trying to get him elected and you talking about him.

Speaker B:

It's Donald Trump, bro.

Speaker A:

I mean, bro, like, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker B:

He does what he wants to do, sir.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And like, and then he's gonna be like, what the going on with this election?

Speaker A:

I'm losing everything, baby.

Speaker A:

If you just shut the up and disappear for like three months, maybe, maybe you might have won some.

Speaker B:

That was hilarious.

Speaker B:

Maybe.

Speaker A:

I mean, hell, in the damn main joint running against Collins, the dude told her to shut up.

Speaker A:

And in the damn thing, doing the damn thing, she's, will you please shut up?

Speaker A:

I was like, oh, God, I didn't think you're supposed to do that.

Speaker A:

Like, will you tell.

Speaker A:

Like, he told her to shut up.

Speaker A:

He might as well said shut the up.

Speaker A:

Like, that's literally how he said it, man.

Speaker A:

And I was like, damn.

Speaker A:

Like, I don't know, man.

Speaker A:

Because when somebody, when you're debating somebody and they tell you to shut the up, basically, I mean, that debate seems to be over to me.

Speaker B:

Is that what it is?

Speaker A:

Because if she.

Speaker A:

If.

Speaker A:

Look, man, if I was up there running for office, which I'm never gonna be because I got this show.

Speaker B:

You know, you can still win, though, bro.

Speaker B:

Got you, man.

Speaker A:

We got you.

Speaker A:

I ain't winning.

Speaker A:

I ain't winning.

Speaker A:

I got you, man.

Speaker A:

Well, I'm not winning the PTA presidency, much less anything else.

Speaker A:

And I got no kids.

Speaker A:

But that's not the point, man.

Speaker A:

Nah, man, that.

Speaker A:

Like, I know.

Speaker A:

I know my.

Speaker A:

I know my limitations, man.

Speaker A:

I said too much on this show to sit here and expect people to vote for.

Speaker A:

For my black ass, so.

Speaker B:

Ruby, I already know.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker B:

You need to believe in yourself, sir.

Speaker B:

Stop it, bro.

Speaker A:

I believe to the fact that I got no shot.

Speaker A:

I ain't got no shot.

Speaker A:

I mean, it's like, so what.

Speaker A:

So what we going to put in this.

Speaker A:

What are we gonna put in this commercial?

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Pick an episode and actually, you gotta.

Speaker B:

You gotta start the.

Speaker B:

Start the commercial with, first of all, I mean.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know what the man.

Speaker A:

Like, what they'll probably do is sit there and say some.

Speaker A:

Y' all said.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And put it up there with, like, I said that, you know, AI is a man.

Speaker A:

My only ass is.

Speaker A:

Did y' all do that?

Speaker A:

Put the name of that.

Speaker A:

Put the name of the episode down there where you heard that from, so at least I can get some credit.

Speaker A:

Come on, man.

Speaker A:

I mean, I can't win the pta, bro.

Speaker A:

I can't.

Speaker B:

He can't win the pta.

Speaker A:

Like, what the.

Speaker B:

Well, you can't win the PGA because you don't have a kid, man.

Speaker A:

I mean, I understand that, man.

Speaker A:

Like, I can't even be a. I can't even be a teacher, bro.

Speaker A:

That's not.

Speaker A:

The Hell, no.

Speaker A:

Look, I understand.

Speaker A:

When I started this almost seven years ago, I know I cut down the.

Speaker A:

The amount of jobs I can get tremendously.

Speaker B:

I don't agree, because I think Joe Rogan could win in public office.

Speaker B:

I think he could be an elected official, and I don't know how well he would do at the job is white, though.

Speaker A:

So that's.

Speaker B:

I hear what you're saying, but what could they use against somebody who's just told the truth?

Speaker B:

I mean, are you talking about me, either one of y', all, man?

Speaker A:

My truth is subjective.

Speaker A:

Like a motherfucker.

Speaker A:

Like, we all know you're not wrong.

Speaker B:

My bad.

Speaker B:

You right.

Speaker B:

You would lose.

Speaker B:

Because, I mean, you kind of do.

Speaker B:

Yeah, you right.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Let's be real, man.

Speaker A:

My shit's real subjective.

Speaker A:

So, like, look, once again, man, a man is as intelligent as his limitations and his strength.

Speaker A:

Likes.

Speaker A:

As long as you know what you good at and what you suck at.

Speaker A:

I ain't never running for office ever.

Speaker A:

I mean, it's like.

Speaker A:

Bro, it's not even hard.

Speaker A:

It's not even hard.

Speaker A:

Just play episode.

Speaker B:

Just playing episode.

Speaker A:

Just play an episode.

Speaker B:

Okay, well, go back to Guilfoyle now.

Speaker B:

I'm sorry, I got.

Speaker B:

I got you all.

Speaker A:

No, you good.

Speaker A:

You're good.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

Nah, man.

Speaker A:

Like, nah, man.

Speaker A:

All I'm saying is two.

Speaker A:

Two people, two weeks.

Speaker A:

I'm trying to figure out what's gonna happen next week.

Speaker A:

I mean, Cause shit, I mean, you know, I don't know how.

Speaker A:

Like, here's the thing.

Speaker A:

I would joke on his kids, but Saturday Night Live does a much better job at it.

Speaker A:

I don't need to do that.

Speaker A:

Because when they joke on the.

Speaker A:

On the suns, man.

Speaker A:

Man, that's just.

Speaker A:

That shit's great.

Speaker B:

I mean, but doesn't it write itself though?

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

I'm not trying to bite off them, I'm just.

Speaker B:

Are you biting off anything that writes itself that good?

Speaker B:

It' everywhere.

Speaker B:

How could you not?

Speaker A:

But they do it so much better than I do.

Speaker A:

I understand that.

Speaker A:

I know my lane, man.

Speaker A:

And that.

Speaker A:

No, that ain't my lane.

Speaker A:

Like, honestly, it's just.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

All I'm saying is pick better people.

Speaker A:

Yeah, but it's hard to pick better people with all of them corrupt.

Speaker A:

So it's like.

Speaker B:

Well, I think.

Speaker B:

I think for them, that is the purpose is to pick people that love them.

Speaker B:

And most of those people are corrupt.

Speaker B:

Because I told you the way to get into the administration.

Speaker B:

First of all, the administration.

Speaker B:

Administration should be a vacuum and a bubble, but it's not.

Speaker B:

It's wide open to everybody who wants to pay.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

And look, brown.

Speaker A:

I guess that's brown for governor.

Speaker A:

2028.

Speaker A:

Hell no.

Speaker A:

I need a new party.

Speaker A:

Because, I mean, we can't do this shit, man.

Speaker B:

We can, man.

Speaker B:

I mean, Barack already said it.

Speaker B:

Yes, we can, bruh.

Speaker A:

And that was Barack Obama.

Speaker B:

And you light skinned too, man.

Speaker B:

You be good, bro.

Speaker A:

That dude was squeaky clean.

Speaker A:

I wasn't gonna have had a parking ticket.

Speaker B:

Nope.

Speaker A:

Much less, I mean, doing anything else.

Speaker A:

I mean, they couldn't even say bad about.

Speaker A:

They had to make up the bad they said about Barack.

Speaker B:

And so we already know whatever they say about you gonna be a lie.

Speaker A:

But, well, we know it ain't true, man.

Speaker B:

We can fact check it.

Speaker B:

All you gotta do is listen to the show.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

I mean, but it won't be untrue is what I'm saying.

Speaker A:

I mean, yeah, like.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, like them kids.

Speaker A:

That's probably not the move.

Speaker B:

Now, your legislation on education, it might be a little rough for you when you.

Speaker B:

When you out here.

Speaker A:

Education is solid.

Speaker A:

It's just when I go kids, right.

Speaker B:

I mean, I can't.

Speaker A:

Even though that's what they need to be.

Speaker A:

I mean, let's just be real.

Speaker A:

This is what it is.

Speaker A:

Like, I'm just.

Speaker A:

Hey, what a lie.

Speaker A:

What a lie.

Speaker B:

There is none.

Speaker B:

I'm just laughing.

Speaker B:

It's funny.

Speaker A:

I mean, I just.

Speaker A:

Hey, vote for me, Ruben Brown.

Speaker A:

F them kids.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I might get eight vote.

Speaker A:

Hell, I might even get five.

Speaker A:

Five.

Speaker A:

Because they're probably a whole bunch of eyes.

Speaker A:

Here's the crazy part.

Speaker A:

The crazy part is I would get more votes than I thought because there are a whole bunch of people out there who are just like FG kids.

Speaker B:

I mean, yeah, it is the funniest thing when y' all say that.

Speaker A:

Oh, my goodness, like this.

Speaker A:

The gold cup phrase means.

Speaker A:

Do you just said it make it mean something else?

Speaker A:

I mean, I guess I could.

Speaker A:

I just don't know what that would mean this time because, I mean, I.

Speaker B:

Don't know if you can slice that differently, man.

Speaker A:

That's hard because I'm gonna accidentally say that as I'm doing.

Speaker A:

As I'm doing it.

Speaker B:

And then.

Speaker B:

And then actually my next question is them kids.

Speaker A:

Oh, I can't suppose say that.

Speaker B:

What about.

Speaker B:

What about PETA?

Speaker B:

How would you deal with them?

Speaker B:

Because you.

Speaker B:

You hate the pet you had.

Speaker B:

You hate the pets and stuff.

Speaker A:

Oh, people eating tasty animals.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I don't.

Speaker A:

With them like, this is.

Speaker A:

Hey, man, that's what it is.

Speaker A:

Cowboys, right?

Speaker A:

The boomers do agree with them F them kids concept simply because they ain't got them no more.

Speaker B:

Their grandparents.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And by the way, I'm glad that came up.

Speaker B:

Boomers and Gen X people are not the same.

Speaker B:

No, but these gen.

Speaker B:

These gen zers out here calling us boomers, it gets.

Speaker B:

It works my nerves.

Speaker B:

It's like boomer.

Speaker B:

Because, man, I'm not a boomer.

Speaker B:

I'm Gen X. I am this.

Speaker B:

I am the offspring of the boomers.

Speaker B:

Look, man, they kill them.

Speaker A:

Here's what it is.

Speaker A:

Here's what it is.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna tell you what it is.

Speaker A:

Cause they stupid.

Speaker B:

So you just gonna simplify like that.

Speaker A:

The education system is kind of crappy.

Speaker A:

I'm just saying, man, it's not just.

Speaker B:

The Way they do it, it's not stupid.

Speaker B:

It's insulting.

Speaker B:

And they mean it to be insulting until they need.

Speaker B:

Until they need somebody with good credit.

Speaker A:

First of all, man, let's just be real.

Speaker A:

30 Of those kids know what the A boomer is.

Speaker A:

The other 70 just listen and they say it.

Speaker A:

Because you're not wrong.

Speaker B:

You're not wrong.

Speaker B:

If we go, we go.

Speaker A:

We got to be real about this.

Speaker A:

They're a bunch of followers.

Speaker A:

And that's.

Speaker A:

That's the biggest issue with this, with the Gen Z real talk.

Speaker A:

They're a bunch of followers, man.

Speaker A:

Like, yo, are they really, though?

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker A:

Come on, man.

Speaker A:

They like limits, bro.

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker A:

They'll jump off the bridge.

Speaker A:

They don't give a.

Speaker A:

Like, that's right, man.

Speaker A:

I just.

Speaker A:

Once again, another reason why I can't run for.

Speaker A:

Got rid of a whole generation.

Speaker A:

I know.

Speaker A:

For me, you got rid of a whole.

Speaker B:

You really did.

Speaker B:

You really did.

Speaker B:

You're not wrong there.

Speaker A:

But, but here's the thing, man.

Speaker A:

In every generation, you got people like that, though.

Speaker A:

That's.

Speaker A:

That's real talk.

Speaker B:

100.

Speaker A:

So it's not.

Speaker A:

It's just higher for that generation, apparently.

Speaker A:

Like, cuz, yo.

Speaker A:

Nah, man.

Speaker A:

Like, they dumb.

Speaker B:

He said.

Speaker A:

Nah, man.

Speaker A:

At least.

Speaker A:

At least was it Gen Y, Whatever the it was, at least those kids were intelligent.

Speaker A:

Like, I think my brother's like, Gen Y, They.

Speaker A:

They intelligent.

Speaker A:

Those kids are intelligent.

Speaker A:

No, our works.

Speaker A:

Yada yada, yada.

Speaker A:

Gen Z, man, they could barely tie their shoes, bro.

Speaker A:

They need Velcro.

Speaker B:

Stop it.

Speaker B:

Stop.

Speaker B:

You see you wrong for that.

Speaker B:

Come on, man.

Speaker A:

What a lot.

Speaker B:

That's a.

Speaker B:

That.

Speaker B:

No, I'm not going to agree to that.

Speaker B:

No, now you're being as disparaging as ar.

Speaker A:

Stop.

Speaker A:

I mean, hey, man, if you can't handle the truth.

Speaker B:

That's not the truth.

Speaker B:

They don't need to handle it.

Speaker B:

They need Velcro.

Speaker B:

Come on, bro.

Speaker A:

Bro, have you seen the new Velcro Jordans?

Speaker B:

No, I haven't.

Speaker A:

Me either.

Speaker A:

They should make something for them, you know.

Speaker A:

Boy, stop.

Speaker B:

See, that's just mean.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that is me.

Speaker A:

Shout out to the Gen Z's.

Speaker B:

Too late.

Speaker B:

They hate you.

Speaker B:

You gonna lose the Gen Z vote.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I mean, but.

Speaker A:

Nah, man, it's like, well, the kb, I could have said they would make it seem like you can't be around kids.

Speaker A:

I mean, that was my past life.

Speaker B:

Nah, that's still your future life, sir.

Speaker B:

I hear you, but just like, you can't come back from F them kids, man.

Speaker A:

I never try.

Speaker B:

I mean, that's More reason why I think Mo and I are mistaken.

Speaker A:

Well, it is, Honestly man, it's, it's, it is not their fault.

Speaker A:

That's why I will say it's not their fault, man.

Speaker A:

It's the educational system is trash.

Speaker B:

Well, I, I think what would do a lot better if you ran for public office would be everybody would be required to take physics.

Speaker B:

I mean not physics, but civics.

Speaker A:

God, yes, Lord, no.

Speaker A:

You taking that in 12th grade, bro?

Speaker A:

I need to know, you know how presidents get elected.

Speaker B:

I took civics in like eighth grade.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

But these don't understand how presidents get elected.

Speaker B:

I, I, I understand.

Speaker B:

That's why I think, you know, you.

Speaker A:

Gotta, you gotta pass Civics in the 12th grade with a B plus in order to graduate because, or it's nope, nope, you can still graduate.

Speaker A:

You just came for that.

Speaker B:

I think, I think maybe they should take specifics when we took civics and then they should be able to take a required political science class for two semesters in their senior year here.

Speaker A:

Who go teach political science?

Speaker B:

Someone who's has a political science background and a, in a degree.

Speaker A:

I mean they, they, they go to college for that.

Speaker A:

Teach that in college.

Speaker B:

But I mean I think people in high school need to know this stuff, man.

Speaker A:

I don't, I understand that, but I don't think people in high school, I don't think they still do home EC anymore.

Speaker B:

So like come back too.

Speaker A:

Cuz can't nobody cook and take and bring back cursing.

Speaker A:

They can't even sign anything these days.

Speaker B:

And, and I think your driver's test, part of your driver's test is be able to drive with a stick shift.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I mean I know we got self driving cars, but if they stupid, the car is stupid then so like what are we doing?

Speaker B:

Because there's a handful of people that are super smart.

Speaker A:

Ah, Jesus, man.

Speaker B:

Hey man, education is like wealth nowadays.

Speaker B:

Yeah, there's 1% there too.

Speaker A:

First of all, I'm not on that neighborhood list.

Speaker A:

I live like 200 yards away from a elementary school, so dang me, number one.

Speaker A:

And then number two, we get a civics PSA episode.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Nobody's gonna watch it.

Speaker B:

Somebody will.

Speaker A:

And I'm, and let's be real, I, I would say that we've done such.

Speaker A:

When, when, when our last president got elected.

Speaker A:

I felt like we talked about that for at least a month about how happens.

Speaker A:

Because I told you about the story that I know somebody, somebody who was a valedictorian who didn't know how the president got elected.

Speaker A:

And I Was just like, I understand you're book smart, but book smart and stupid smart.

Speaker A:

What are we doing?

Speaker B:

No, but that has nothing to do with super smart.

Speaker B:

That has everything to do with this person.

Speaker B:

If this person graduated first in their class, they had a voracious appetite for learning in high school.

Speaker B:

If you don't put it in front of them to learn, they're not going to learn it.

Speaker B:

If you put it in front of them to learn, they'll know exactly how the president was elected.

Speaker A:

But then you can't come here 10 years later and put a Facebook post about how the president got elected because you know, such and such won the popular vote.

Speaker A:

That's when you get the Kevin Hart look.

Speaker B:

Well, I hear what you're saying, but not exactly.

Speaker B:

It's just like if you don't know it's a legit question until it gets answered.

Speaker B:

I mean, you're going to answer her or him or are you going to just be like, you're an idiot?

Speaker B:

I mean, honestly, you can do this.

Speaker B:

You could do both at the same time.

Speaker B:

But the bottom line is if you don't tell this person what it is, they're never gonna know.

Speaker A:

Hence why civics should be taught in the 12th grade.

Speaker B:

Why don't you want to teach it earlier?

Speaker A:

I say teach it twice.

Speaker B:

That's exactly what I'm saying.

Speaker B:

I'm thinking there should be a very rigorous political curriculum in school starting in 8th or 9th grade.

Speaker A:

But you know the problem with that ag is we ain't got no Department of Education because they shut that down.

Speaker A:

I mean, let's keep our people stupid.

Speaker B:

It.

Speaker B:

Well, that's their goal.

Speaker B:

But I'm not.

Speaker B:

But I'm saying that I have hope.

Speaker B:

I have hope.

Speaker B:

I have hope that the administration will change fundamentally.

Speaker B:

Meaning all the people that we're enduring now are gone.

Speaker B:

And then you'll have people in there that will not want us to be dumb.

Speaker B:

So they could do everything they want to do.

Speaker A:

And K. Bako has a quote of the night.

Speaker B:

Gen Z.

Speaker A:

It's on the screen.

Speaker A:

12.

Speaker A:

I gotta find what episode that is.

Speaker A:

But because that needs to be a.

Speaker B:

Spotlight episode, I would have to go through so many because I didn't even know what's that.

Speaker B:

I don't even know the period of time that was said.

Speaker A:

It was a period of time that we were doing video, we were doing YouTube videos.

Speaker A:

We were alive.

Speaker A:

It was before 100, so it was between the 50 and 100 range.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I just decided to.

Speaker A:

Because I really want to watch that episode or hear that episode because I believe that's one of our funniest episodes ever.

Speaker A:

Because we got stuck on that 12 for at least 30 minutes.

Speaker B:

I have never laughed so hard in my life.

Speaker B:

I was like.

Speaker B:

I remember choking.

Speaker B:

I remember trying to catch my breath.

Speaker B:

It was hilarious.

Speaker A:

It was around.

Speaker A:

It was around the time I got covet because I got in CO. And.

Speaker B:

What year was that?

Speaker B:

2020 Then, right?

Speaker B:

Or was it after the fact?

Speaker A:

21.

Speaker B:

21.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And you're sure it's between 50 and 100?

Speaker A:

Well, because.

Speaker A:

Because I. I remember doing the special Covet episode.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

And that was in 21 when Marcus J.

Speaker A:

Interview me.

Speaker A:

So wherever that.

Speaker A:

Whatever that was is before that.

Speaker A:

But I don't know how much further before that.

Speaker A:

Oh yeah, man.

Speaker A:

Valedictorian didn't know how many years in this.

Speaker A:

In a decade, bro.

Speaker B:

That was.

Speaker A:

That might have been the greatest sadness I've ever felt.

Speaker B:

The greatest sadness,.

Speaker A:

You know, because yo, man, let's like.

Speaker A:

I mean, that was sadder than breaking up with people.

Speaker A:

Like to me, cuz I was just like, all right, our generation is going to.

Speaker B:

It's Saturday and heartbreak.

Speaker A:

The generation.

Speaker A:

The generation two.

Speaker A:

Two decades after that is going to.

Speaker A:

Because if you the valedictorian of a high school and you don't know how many damn years in a decade, we out, man.

Speaker B:

I'm telling you, some.

Speaker B:

Some of this stuff is not the kids.

Speaker B:

A lot of this stuff is they just don't te.

Speaker B:

They just don't teach it.

Speaker B:

I'm telling you, they don't.

Speaker B:

It's not all them all the time, man.

Speaker B:

I'm telling you, it's not all them all the time.

Speaker A:

All I'm saying is the dude who was asking her questions won't too much older than her 100%.

Speaker B:

But I'm telling you, it's not all.

Speaker A:

And her friend knew, so it's her dumbass who's a valedictorian of that high school that she mentioned multiple times.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Like she.

Speaker B:

She had an accomplishment.

Speaker B:

It doesn't mean they're mutually exclusive.

Speaker A:

I'm just letting you know I know.

Speaker B:

It's not all them all the time.

Speaker B:

And like you said, they want us to be dumb and they're not.

Speaker B:

And you're not wrong.

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker B:

They are actively shutting down fundamentals and education for whatever reasons they want to say they're doing it and they're succeeding.

Speaker B:

I mean, they're succeeding, man, at a fantastic level.

Speaker B:

It's just like they doing what they want to do.

Speaker B:

They.

Speaker B:

The Adam's family, do what you want to do who you want to be.

Speaker B:

I'm like, okay.

Speaker A:

Hey, man, to quote for us go, stupid is a stupid dust 100.

Speaker B:

But nowadays, stupid isn't stupid.

Speaker A:

Now it's normal.

Speaker B:

We are living idiocracy right now, sir.

Speaker A:

Oh, my God.

Speaker B:

All the way down to the shoes.

Speaker B:

We're living idiocracy right now.

Speaker A:

I'm just.

Speaker A:

I'm just.

Speaker A:

The day I see some.

Speaker A:

Somebody pour some Gatorade on the grass to make it grow them out.

Speaker B:

We've already had this discussion about Mountain Dew in Kentucky.

Speaker B:

Stop it.

Speaker B:

It's already happening.

Speaker B:

Stop it.

Speaker A:

Why are you.

Speaker B:

Man, I don't even know why you don't want to accept what is true.

Speaker B:

Yeah, you just say, man, accept what is true.

Speaker A:

There are a lot of things in my life I'm never going to forget.

Speaker A:

The Kentucky Mountain Dew episode of Oprah.

Speaker A:

I ain't never forgetting that shit ever.

Speaker A:

When that dude was like, we don't like water.

Speaker A:

We like Mountain Dew, and he's wondering why his teeth was rotting once again.

Speaker A:

Kevin Hartface with the blanks, like, bruh.

Speaker A:

And then.

Speaker A:

And then they wonder why they have Republican senators and a Senate people.

Speaker A:

I mean, and House representatives, but they have a Democratic governor, and they wonder why that can't do nothing.

Speaker A:

Because of that, you know?

Speaker A:

I mean, you bad enough.

Speaker A:

I mean, the classic.

Speaker A:

The classic south park episode.

Speaker A:

It took our jobs.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

Nobody took your goddamn job.

Speaker A:

Like, you're just dumbass.

Speaker A:

Get a job.

Speaker A:

Like, oh, my God, that's another.

Speaker A:

That's another episode I gotta find, too, man.

Speaker B:

What's that?

Speaker A:

Because that.

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

The Kentucky episode, bro.

Speaker A:

I went off for like a half hour on that.

Speaker A:

I would never forget.

Speaker A:

Get that?

Speaker B:

I hear what you're saying, but it's gonna be hard for you, sir.

Speaker B:

You don't spend a lot of time listening to the show after the fact, so good luck.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I know.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna find it, though.

Speaker B:

If you, like, can you at least nail down the, like, the year.

Speaker A:

I have no idea.

Speaker A:

When we talked about that, bro.

Speaker B:

You're in trouble.

Speaker B:

345 Episodes to look through.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna be on a plane for the next couple days, so, like, I'll have some time.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

We're gonna figure some out there.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker A:

Yo, that's fact finding missions right now.

Speaker B:

And now for a commercial break.

Speaker A:

How you doing?

Speaker A:

This is Reuben from Five Minute Warning, and I just wanted to sit here and tell you about JTD Creations.

Speaker A:

They're the ones that made our shirts and even sweatshirts.

Speaker A:

They're pretty dope.

Speaker A:

They can put your logo on anything.

Speaker A:

Shirts, jackets, hoodies, even hats.

Speaker A:

They also do Stanleys and all this other stuff.

Speaker A:

Anything you need a logo on on, they can put it on.

Speaker A:

They can do it for one or two people or they could do it for a group.

Speaker A:

It's really up to you.

Speaker A:

Hit them up on JTD Creations on Facebook.

Speaker A:

Once again, that's who 5 Minute Warning uses for all of our apparel.

Speaker A:

And trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Speaker A:

Once again, hit up JTD Creations if you need a shirt or you need anything for yourself, a family member or your crew, and let them know that five minute one is sent.

Speaker A:

You have a great, great one.

Speaker B:

And back to the show.

Speaker A:

Let's talk about what we folks talk about.

Speaker A:

So, man, very simple question.

Speaker A:

Name the three best places that you like to go when you want to think.

Speaker A:

Like, deep thinking.

Speaker A:

Not the I got to do this.

Speaker A:

Nah, man.

Speaker A:

When you want to do some deep thinking.

Speaker A:

Now that your deep thinking might be like, I got to create my list, so I'm cool with that.

Speaker A:

But if the three places that you always go when you deep think.

Speaker A:

Oh, where you always are when you're.

Speaker B:

Deep thinking, I am always deep thinking at job, at work, I am always deep thinking in the car on the way home.

Speaker B:

And I'm always deep thinking when I'm watching television.

Speaker A:

Oh, wow.

Speaker B:

Watching television.

Speaker B:

Many times it's like a dichotomy.

Speaker B:

I can be distracted, but I can hear things that trigger me.

Speaker B:

And some of my best thoughts that I constantly write down, I text myself my own thoughts at work.

Speaker B:

Sometimes it's quiet and I can think that way.

Speaker B:

Sometimes I'm into a repair that's going to take a while and then.

Speaker B:

And I'm good enough at whatever the repair is to where I can kind of be thinking about something else or if it's just I'm doing something super tedious and I've done a million times, I don't have to think about it.

Speaker B:

So I can think about other things.

Speaker B:

And being in the car by myself, you know, it's like there's no one there to distract me.

Speaker B:

And it's just me in the car for 45 minutes just thinking about whatever.

Speaker B:

Now sometimes it's like it works like the television because I have NPR going, and so I'm listening to what they're saying and thinking about, you know, what they're saying and, you know, from my point of view, from their point of view, you know, and the world's point of view.

Speaker B:

It's always Going to be something where, you know, somebody.

Speaker B:

Somebody's giving me something and I have some feedback or I'm triggered by something, or it's going to be where I am doing a tedious task and my mind can be elsewhere.

Speaker B:

So that's where it.

Speaker B:

Because.

Speaker B:

Because Lauren was like, what, the bathroom?

Speaker B:

I said, not necessarily.

Speaker B:

Because in the bathroom, I'm distracting myself by playing a game.

Speaker B:

I am usually in the bathroom playing a block game or Sudoku or, you know, Instagram, whatever it is.

Speaker B:

It's like I'm not necessarily in deep thought unless I'm triggered.

Speaker B:

So it all, you know, like, for me, I have to be given information to think about.

Speaker B:

And those are the places in which.

Speaker B:

And, you know, activities in which I can think about them in a deep way.

Speaker B:

Because I think I must text you.

Speaker B:

Not you, but I must text ideas for my part of the show, like, at least five times a day.

Speaker B:

Day, every day.

Speaker A:

Nice.

Speaker B:

So that's why I unload on.

Speaker B:

On Discord with questions of the day, and y' all can choose which ones you do do like or don't like.

Speaker B:

But that's where it comes from.

Speaker B:

It's like I'll be sitting around and something said, oh, what about that?

Speaker B:

And actually, I only give y' all a fraction of what's on my phone.

Speaker B:

So that's kind of where.

Speaker B:

That's where.

Speaker B:

Kind of where it comes from.

Speaker B:

But the.

Speaker B:

The common denominator is I am triggered.

Speaker B:

I am triggered.

Speaker B:

And then I'll.

Speaker B:

I'll think about it in those places.

Speaker A:

That's cool.

Speaker A:

Cool, cool.

Speaker A:

So the car is.

Speaker A:

Is because for what I do, I am driving a lot.

Speaker A:

So definitely, you know, the car is a.

Speaker A:

The number one place I need.

Speaker A:

This is gonna sound bad, but I'll say it anyway.

Speaker A:

I need to get better at using the technology that I know how to use, because I'm with you.

Speaker A:

I have a lot of thoughts in my head, and I really need to get really good at, like, when I get them, I somehow trigger it into my phone and then talk about it.

Speaker A:

It's not that I don't know how is that.

Speaker A:

Honestly, for the most time, I'm not thinking about doing that.

Speaker A:

I probably need to really, really, really get good at just taking mental notes because I'm kind of old school and I want to then type it to myself, but that shit's not good when you're driving.

Speaker A:

Just say no to that.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

So that's my PSA for the day.

Speaker A:

So, yeah, I gotta get better using my technology while I'm driving, because there's so many ways you hit a button on the car and you can talk to whoever you want to talk to about it and put it in your notes or something.

Speaker A:

I gotta get better at that.

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

Honestly, man, the bathroom is possibly the most sacred space that I have in my house.

Speaker A:

And I live by myself, you know, And I. I say that because when it should be anywhere in the house.

Speaker A:

House.

Speaker A:

Nah, man.

Speaker A:

Like, I'm cool in the bathroom.

Speaker A:

Like I.

Speaker A:

Unless I got some, I gotta do.

Speaker A:

There have been days that I've spent way too long sitting on the toilet.

Speaker A:

And you live alone now, some of that.

Speaker A:

And some of that is on purpose because I'm my brains out.

Speaker A:

But then the other part is I get comfortable, especially when mine spirals into ideas.

Speaker A:

So about what I need to do, how can I make myself better.

Speaker A:

Excuse me?

Speaker A:

The show, a whole bunch of.

Speaker A:

So I need to do better in that.

Speaker A:

But once again, that's another situation that I need to work on.

Speaker A:

And I would probably say the third place where I really, like, sit there, there.

Speaker A:

Well, I sit, but I'm really there.

Speaker A:

And I'm just like, huh.

Speaker A:

Honestly is when I get up in the morning in the bed because I am lazy as.

Speaker A:

And I feel like I gotta.

Speaker A:

I don't feel like if I don't.

Speaker A:

I gotta get up, but I can't just jump out of bed.

Speaker A:

My equilibrium is trash.

Speaker A:

Especially now I only got two toes on one foot.

Speaker A:

I don't be falling nothing.

Speaker A:

But that is still trash.

Speaker A:

So, you know, I hate running to walls and like, that's just not cool because I have no balance.

Speaker A:

So I'll just lay in the bed.

Speaker A:

I look at the clock.

Speaker A:

Oh, 20 minutes for my alarm goes off.

Speaker A:

Well, I'm not going back to sleep.

Speaker A:

So let's think about some.

Speaker A:

So, yeah, I would say say laying in the bed first thing in the morning, not at night.

Speaker A:

I hate when my mind works at night because I can't go to sleep.

Speaker A:

That bothers me.

Speaker A:

And it's not comfortable because, you know, you're racing through 100 things in your mind and you're trying to go to sleep.

Speaker A:

However, I will say this.

Speaker A:

Yo, man, for those people out there who need help, like, if you got like a CPA pap.

Speaker A:

Greatest invention ever, boy, I put that on, I'm out.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker A:

Like a light, bruh.

Speaker A:

Like in five minutes.

Speaker A:

I love it.

Speaker A:

But it also keeps me alive too.

Speaker A:

So, you know, that's.

Speaker A:

That's the thing.

Speaker A:

So yeah, man, like, those are the three spots for me when I do my best thinking.

Speaker A:

But I will add the caveat of I need to use my technology better because I don't use it as well as I should.

Speaker A:

Obviously, if you're in the bed or if you're in the bathroom, you can type it.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, I'm super old school.

Speaker A:

Like, like, honestly, when texting became a thing, I hated texting.

Speaker A:

And to be real, I still don't really like it, but that's how you got to communicate these days.

Speaker A:

Because.

Speaker A:

Because don't have social skills.

Speaker A:

So like, yeah, so I don't know, man.

Speaker A:

Like, I'm.

Speaker A:

I'm just old school like a motherfucker, man.

Speaker A:

But that's why I get down.

Speaker A:

So appreciate you ag, man.

Speaker A:

What's on your mind, man?

Speaker B:

I said this before, I'll say it again.

Speaker B:

If you like ordering out, learn how to cook what you order out.

Speaker B:

Save yourself some cash.

Speaker B:

I, I did fried rice in rangoons today and I was just thinking to myself as I'm cooking this stuff, I was like, okay, I took 20 minutes and I saved myself 50 bucks.

Speaker B:

Just saying it's not that hard.

Speaker B:

It is time consuming sometimes.

Speaker B:

Sometimes it's time consuming.

Speaker B:

However, it made me feel good.

Speaker B:

I'm sure it can make you all feel good.

Speaker B:

Good if you save yourself 50, 60, $100 just because you knew how to do what you love to do or you knew how to cook what you love to eat.

Speaker B:

So just try.

Speaker B:

That's what's on the line.

Speaker A:

I'll be honest, man.

Speaker A:

I love cooking because of that reason.

Speaker A:

And that's also a happy place for me.

Speaker A:

One of the things that I can't wait, wait to get a significant other so we can go to those cooking classes and not really just learn how to cook or learn how to cook some that we don't know how to cook, but just being in spaces like, because I, you know, I, I am a fan of doing stuff like that together.

Speaker A:

Like to me cooking, you know, one, one significant other taught me the joys of cooking with your personal partner.

Speaker A:

Oh man, I'm all about that.

Speaker A:

Like, it's so like, like on hitch when they went out to the, to the.

Speaker A:

When they learned how to cook some food together instead of going to dinner and sitting down or whatever, they went to a cooking class, bro.

Speaker A:

That's like, that's like a dope ass, like second date thing.

Speaker A:

I would do real talk.

Speaker A:

Like I'm.

Speaker A:

I think that stuff even if knows that it's expensive, but that is cool.

Speaker B:

As it's only expensive the first time after that.

Speaker A:

Oh yeah, well, but you go, so what.

Speaker A:

What, what should happen?

Speaker A:

What they want, they cook different things each month.

Speaker A:

And if you don't know how to cook that, you go and learn that.

Speaker A:

Now, that can be expensive.

Speaker A:

But you know what?

Speaker A:

I don't mind paying for that because it's not.

Speaker A:

You're not paying for the food.

Speaker A:

You're paying for the experience with your partner.

Speaker B:

Right, right, right.

Speaker B:

I get that.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And that's how you create memory memories.

Speaker A:

Like, I don't mind paying for memories.

Speaker A:

What I mind is paying rent.

Speaker A:

Because that's not memories.

Speaker A:

That's your rent.

Speaker B:

I'm paying people's rent.

Speaker B:

That's funny.

Speaker A:

Hell no.

Speaker A:

I'm just being honest, man.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, what if we pay it?

Speaker A:

Like, because I'll be watching these little videos and stuff, how women are just like, well, why do.

Speaker A:

Why do we get the villa?

Speaker A:

Well, we here, we just got married.

Speaker A:

We here for the experience.

Speaker A:

I could be in a cardboard box, baby, and I'm gonna make some happen.

Speaker A:

Now, obviously that's not what you really mean, but that's just the point.

Speaker A:

Like, just because you want me to spend all my money so then we can be broke, like, and then you get mad and leave.

Speaker A:

Nah, like, what are we doing?

Speaker A:

It's all about the memories in the.

Speaker A:

In the stuff like that for me, man.

Speaker A:

And that's why I, like, that's why the hard things.

Speaker A:

True passion, baby.

Speaker A:

True passion.

Speaker A:

I'm a. I'm a passionate man.

Speaker A:

And you know, somebody is gonna get all of this passion.

Speaker B:

Should they be afraid.

Speaker A:

If they can't handle it?

Speaker A:

They should be.

Speaker B:

Oh, man, you heard it first.

Speaker B:

You heard it here first.

Speaker A:

And one day I'll find somebody who can absorb all this passion because, I mean, here's the thing, man.

Speaker A:

When it's all said and done, if you're happy in a relationship and both parties are mutually happy, then everything else is happy in your life because, oh, I got this.

Speaker A:

That, man, I'm going to see my girl or my significant other.

Speaker A:

Whatever, whatever.

Speaker A:

You choose.

Speaker A:

Like, so, yeah, I mean, because I'm pretty sure a lot of relationships go through some hard times, maybe financial times, maybe just lifetimes.

Speaker A:

But you know what?

Speaker A:

Knowing that you got that special person who.

Speaker A:

Who is in the mud with you, let's climb out this together.

Speaker A:

I mean, you mad.

Speaker A:

You've been married for like 10, 15 years, right?

Speaker B:

11.

Speaker B:

11.

Speaker A:

How long you married for?

Speaker A:

11.

Speaker A:

Yeah, well, a decade feels like.

Speaker B:

It feels like yesterday more than a decade.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And like.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

And I'm pretty sure, sure you Feel like whatever happened you and that you not by yourself in that y' all together, and y' all strong together.

Speaker A:

And that's the thing, you know, that's.

Speaker A:

And that's the thing, man.

Speaker A:

I want that.

Speaker A:

You know, I don't want to be broken.

Speaker A:

Nothing.

Speaker A:

I ain't saying all that.

Speaker A:

I'm just saying, like, yo, I just want to know that I got a ride or die.

Speaker A:

Who's riding to die for me?

Speaker A:

And if we do that together, life is good.

Speaker A:

Hopefully she won't kill me, but, like, you know, that sort of thing.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that's.

Speaker A:

That's cool.

Speaker A:

That's all I want to add to it because I. I think.

Speaker A:

I think when you take somebody on a date, I mean, some things are whatever, but it should be more about the experience between you two, not the experience of everything else.

Speaker A:

Sometimes that does come in a place play.

Speaker A:

But if you two are not in sync with that experience, then that experience don't mean so.

Speaker A:

Or you can tell your friend, girl, we went to his night dinner.

Speaker A:

Yeah, but if I was mad at your ass through the whole dinner because you were being a.

Speaker A:

Like, who cares?

Speaker A:

You can tell your friends you went there, but we ain't going there no more because I ain't got time for that, so.

Speaker A:

And with that being said, what's on my mind is very simple.

Speaker A:

Hey, man, it's snuggle time.

Speaker A:

Babies, fat, guys in season, let's go.

Speaker A:

Like, I don't want to cut all my heat.

Speaker A:

I want somebody come warm me up, bruh.

Speaker B:

That's borderline creepy, sir.

Speaker A:

It is borderline creepy.

Speaker A:

But it's real.

Speaker B:

He said, but it's real.

Speaker A:

Now, I ain't gonna stalk your ass tonight.

Speaker A:

Cause I. I ain't got time for that.

Speaker A:

I ain't about to waste my time on somebody who want to waste their time on me.

Speaker A:

We not doing that.

Speaker A:

All I'm saying is, hey, man, you.

Speaker A:

You need.

Speaker A:

You need to be warm.

Speaker A:

Your boy got you.

Speaker A:

That's not going to work for me.

Speaker A:

It hasn't worked in the last 53 years, so we'll just go.

Speaker A:

Keep pushing, but nah, man, all I'm saying is it's winter time.

Speaker A:

Snuggle up with your special someone.

Speaker A:

Because I promise you, whatever your love language is, this is that time for it.

Speaker A:

And hopefully that love language is touched.

Speaker A:

Because if it's touched, then you need to be touching all up on that.
